Registration Step: When you order your Vezo wearable online, you will be prompted to connect a payment card through Fidesmo, a third-party European PCI DSS Visa & Mastercard approved token requester. This is what we call the “registration step,” in which an encrypted token is assigned to your card. None of your credentials are stored by Vezo and are only passed through our trusted partner, Fidesmo. Encrypted Token: The wearable will be shipped to you with an encrypted, inactive token that represents your payment card. This token hides your credentials and is ready to be activated. Activation: Only the owner of the payment credentials can activate the device using their app. Third-party OTP (One-Time Password) authentication via SMS and your bank’s banking app are required to activate your wearable, ensuring the utmost security.
