Product Information - VezoPay Ring
What's Covered and For How Long?
VezoPay (Pty) Ltd guarantees to the original customer that the products listed below are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the specified warranty period (24 Months). This warranty applies only to the initial consumer and excludes dealers, resellers, retailers, and used products (except VezoPay-certified pre-owned or renewed devices with VezoPay’s standard warranty). The warranty begins on the delivery date for most products, or for devices, on the initial setup and activation date, whichever comes first, and lasts for the period (24 Months) after that date.
What's Not Covered?
This warranty is valid only if the product is used correctly. It does not cover:
(a) Damage from accidents, misuse, abnormal use, improper storage, neglect, or excessive physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress.
(b) Damage from liquids, moisture, weather, sand, dust, or dirt that goes against the product's specifications and user manual.
(c) Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage.
(d) Damage from pressing the touchscreen too hard or with unapproved objects.
(e) Products with altered or unreadable serial numbers or enhancement data codes.
(f) Normal wear and tear.
(g) Damage from unapproved accessories or equipment.
(h) Damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, software, installation, repairs, or adjustments not approved by VezoPay.
(i) Damage from bypassing security controls for unauthorized access or rooting devices with unauthorized software.
(j) Damage from external causes like collisions, fire, floods, storms, lightning, earthquakes, theft, blown fuses, or improper electrical use.
(k) Damage from poor cellular reception, transmission, viruses, or other software issues.
If the product has damage, unapproved modifications, or parts that prevent VezoPay from determining warranty coverage or making repairs, VezoPay will inform you. You can then choose to:
(i) Have the product returned at your expense and resubmit it after correcting the issue, or
(ii) Have VezoPay fix the issue at your expense before warranty evaluation or repair. VezoPay will not proceed until the problem is resolved. VezoPay is not responsible for maintaining or repairing any aftermarket hardware or software changes.
What VezoPay Will Do
During the warranty period, if the product is returned as specified and has a covered defect, VezoPay will, at its discretion, either repair the defect or replace the product at no charge, subject to the mentioned conditions. VezoPay may use refurbished or new parts or products for repairs or replacements. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced items become VezoPay's property. This warranty cannot be transferred or assigned, except as required by law. During the applicable warranty period, VezoPay will repair or replace the product, at VezoPay’s option, without charge. VezoPay may use rebuilt, reconditioned, or new parts or components when repairing any Product, or may replace the Product with a rebuilt, reconditioned, or new Product. Repaired or replaced cases, pouches and holsters are warranted for 90 days. All other repairs or replacements are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced items become VezoPay's property. This warranty cannot be transferred or assigned, except as expressly allowed by applicable law.
How to Get Warranty Service
To claim against this warranty, you must use VezoPay's authorized online warranty claims service by emailing [email protected] . Devices must be presented with the sales receipt or proof of purchase showing the purchase date. For service information, visit VezoPay.com or contact their support team. If VezoPay finds the product is not covered, you must pay for all repair and shipping costs. Your device’s data may be deleted or reformatted whilst in VezoPay’s possession.
VezoPay's Liability Limits
THIS WARRANTY IS THE FULL EXTENT OF VezoPay's RESPONSIBILITIES AND YOUR ONLY REMEDY. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THIS WARRANTY'S DURATION.
VezoPay is not liable for damages exceeding the product's purchase price, including commercial losses, loss of use, time, reputation, opportunity, goodwill, profits, savings, inconvenience, data loss, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations. VezoPay makes no warranties about third-party software or equipment used with the product. The user and vendor are responsible for third-party software or equipment quality and compatibility. No document or statement creates an express warranty. No agent, employee, dealer, representative, or reseller can modify or extend this warranty. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by location.
Severability
If any part of this warranty is found to be illegal or unenforceable, the rest of the warranty remains valid.
You may not reproduce any content without VezoPay’s prior written approval, except for Your own personal use.

- Skin-Friendly Materials: VezoPay wearables are crafted using materials rigorously selected to ensure they are free from internationally restricted or substances known to pose hazardous properties when in prolonged contact with the skin.
- Internal Material: The inner surface, which directly touches the skin, is composed of epoxy, chosen for its hypoallergenic properties and smooth finish.
- External Material Diversity: The outer surface showcases a range of premium materials, including titanium, gold, stainless steel, carbon ceramic, and silver, each selected for its durability and aesthetic appeal, while maintaining skin safety.
Critical Safety Warnings:
- Age Restriction: To mitigate potential risks associated with small parts and improper fit, the VezoPay Ring/Wearable is not intended for use by children under the age of 6.
- Adverse Skin Reactions: In the event of any skin irritation, redness, or other adverse reactions, users are advised to immediately discontinue use and consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- Choking Hazard: The product contains small components that present a choking hazard, particularly to young children. Therefore, it should be kept out of their reach at all times.
- Ingestion Risk: Under no circumstances should the VezoPay Ring/Wearable be ingested. If accidental ingestion occurs, immediate contact with emergency medical services is imperative.
Water and Dust Resistance
- Superior Water Resistance: The VezoPay Ring/Wearable has the ability to withstand submersion in water and is water resistant
- Dustproof Integrity: VezoPay wearables try and ensure robust protection against dust ingress, maintaining the device's functionality and longevity in dusty environments.
- Post-Exposure Care: Following exposure to chlorinated pool water, seawater, or other liquids such as coffee, oils, or cosmetics, it is crucial to rinse the wearable thoroughly with clean, fresh water.
- High-Pressure Activity Caution: Engaging in high-pressure water activities, including jet skiing and scuba diving, should be avoided while wearing the device, as these can exceed its pressure resistance limits.
- Thermal Shock Prevention: Exposure to extreme temperature variations, such as those found in saunas or steam rooms, should be avoided to prevent damage to the device's water resistance seals. Similarly, the use of heating devices such as hair dryers is not recommended.
- Impact and Disassembly: Physical impacts or unauthorized disassembly can compromise the device's water, dust resistance, structural integrity and/or functonality.
Usage, Maintenance, and Longevity:
- Optimal Fit: Ensuring a comfortable fit is essential for both user comfort and device functionality. Avoid wearing the ring too tightly or loosely.
- Scratch and Damage Prevention: Exercise caution when handling the device around hard or sharp objects. Refrain from wearing other metal rings on adjacent fingers to prevent scratches. Remove the wearable during heavy lifting or machine-based exercises.
- Regular Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness by ensuring both the wearable and your hands are clean and dry before use.
- Proper Storage: When not in use, store the wearable in its original storage box, or similar padded box to prevent damage.
Emergency Procedures:
- Emergency Removal: In the event that the wearable becomes stuck and cannot be removed by conventional means, it can be carefully cut off.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, and other forms of cosmetic damage are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
